Code of Conduct
EvolveDigital is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming, professional, and harassment-free experience for everyone.
This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, vendors, organizers, and staff at the conference and at any related social events or activities.
Expected behaviour
All participants are expected to:
- Treat others with respect and professionalism.
- Be considerate of different backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
- Respect personal boundaries and requests to stop unwanted interactions.
- Help create an environment where everyone can participate safely and comfortably.
Unacceptable behaviour
Harassment and discrimination will not be tolerated.
Unacceptable behaviour includes:
- Discriminatory, abusive, threatening, or degrading language or imagery.
- Intimidation, bullying, stalking, or unwanted following.
- Unwelcome sexual attention, comments, advances, or physical contact.
- Harassing or non-consensual photography or recording.
- Sustained disruption of talks or event activities.
- Deliberately sharing someoneʼs private information without permission.
- Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern.
- Encouraging any of the above behaviour.
Weapons and illegal drugs are not permitted at EvolveDigital venues.
Reporting a concern
If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, speak to an EvolveDigital staff member, visit the registration desk, or email:
info@evolvedigital.com
If you are in immediate danger, contact venue security or local emergency services.
Consequences
EvolveDigital may take any action it considers appropriate, including issuing a warning, removing someone from the event without a refund, restricting attendance at future events, contacting venue security, or reporting the conduct to the relevant authorities.
Reports will be handled as promptly, respectfully, and confidentially as reasonably possible.
